Shop processes for your safety

At Patayin Tattoo Co. safety is our top priority. One of the ways we ensure the safety of our clients and staff is by implementing a thorough cleaning and disinfecting process for our shop and work stations. This will not only ensure that the customer leaves the studio as healthy as they came in, but it will also provide a foundation for proper healing of their new tattoo.

All our tools aside from the tattoo machine is EO gas commercial sterilized and produced by manufacturers in the USA. It is very important to be picky with the tattoo products. Inks, needles, grips, tubes, etc follow a very strict sterilization process in North America ensuring safety and accountability. Unfortunately, foreign products from Asia tend to be of lower quality and doesn’t follow the same stringent quality assurance and safety checks.

Our stations and non disposables (tattoo machines) are cleaned and disinfected before and after every client using medical grade disinfectants such as CaviCide, alcohol and bleach.

All our artists have a BBP certificate to ensure they understand and are complying with Public Health recommendations and direction.

Thorough aftercare instructions are provided to every client to ensure their fresh tattoo is well protected during the healing process.

We are reviewed and monitored by the Waterloo Region’s Public Health Program Check It We Inspect It. This agency ensures the safety of the general public, and updates to all tattoo shops in the region are listed here.
